Here is the video game “MechWarrior 4: Vengeance”! Released in 2000 on Windows, it's still available and playable with some tinkering. It's an action and simulation game, set in a battlemech, sci-fi / futuristic, licensed title, vehicular combat simulator and war themes. Navigate to the download directory “C: Users'your user name' Downloads MW4mercs MechWarriors 4 VengeanceExpansionMechPaks MechWarrior 4 Vengeance” Locate the NoCD cracked MW4.exe file Drag and drop the MW4.exe file into your games install directory “C: Program Files (x86) Microsoft Games MechWarrior Vengeance”. The MechWarrior 4: Vengeance mystery. Mechwarrior 4: Mercenaries is actually a standalone expansion pack for Mechwarrior 4: Vengeance. Mechwarrior 4: Vengeance was at some point in the past also released for free, however we could not find a current download link for it.

What does not

- Game is not playable in full screen, only windowed

- Only certain resolutions seem to work. 800 x 600 and 1024 x 768 work; however, any others seem to cause the game to crash

Additional Comments

Installed and ran the game following the instructions in the admin note. The process went smoothly, except for the issues mentioned above. I used the suggested options.ini and it worked fine. The game seems quite 'sensitive' to those settings though - if I change the resolution or increase LOD, the game will crash.

Otherwise, the game seems playable with those settings. I gave a Silver rating because the fullscreen and resolution issues are quite annoying and the Wine patch seems like quite an involved workaround.
